The requirements are straightforward, but meeting them consistently requires attention to three areas: messaging, reviews, and shipping.
The Three Requirements

- Five-star rating: Maintain a 4.8-star average or higher over the review period
- On-time shipping: Ship 95 percent or more of orders on time with tracking
You also need at least five orders and $300 in revenue in the evaluation period. These are minimum thresholds that most active shops hit naturally.
Nailing the Response Rate
The message response requirement is the easiest to meet but also the easiest to forget. Turn on Etsy's mobile notifications so you never miss a message. If your fulfillment partner needs 3 to 5 business days to produce and ship, set your Etsy processing time to 5 to 7 days to build in a buffer.
